We are pleased that you are using our website and thank you for your interest in our services and products. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Therefore, please note the following information:
Collection, Processing and Storage of Data
You can use our website without any personal data being collected by us.
The collection of personal data is required to conclude and execute a contract, open a customer account or to establish contact with Gatwick Taxi Cabs. This data will be used solely for the purposes mentioned above, unless we receive your express consent for other uses. They will be used only to the extent necessary for the specific purpose, such as contract conclusion, execution and settlement.
To fulfil these purposes, your data will be stored in compliance with tax and trade law requirements, but will be deleted after said periods have expired.
In addition, personal data is collected when you sign up to our email newsletter. This data will be used by us for our own promotional purposes in the form of email newsletters if you have expressly consented thereto in your registration. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by using the "Unsubscribe" link found at the bottom of every newsletter. Your email address will then be immediately deleted for marketing purposes.
A log file is created with every visit to our sites and every time a file is accessed. Due to technical limitations, these data cannot be identified as belonging to specific individuals. We do not merge or compare these data with other data sources; the anonymised data is deleted after being used for statistical evaluation. Each record consists of:
• the site from which the file was requested,
• the name of the file,
• the date and time of the request,
• the amount of data transferred,
• the access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.),
• a description of the type of browser used,
• the IP address.
IP addresses are also automatically recorded and stored in a log file on the server with every visit to our sites and each time a file is accessed. Under certain circumstances, IP addresses can be traced back to the specific user. Gatwick Taxi Cabs nonetheless does not undertake analyses to achieve this end nor does it use such data for its own promotional purposes, nor does it keep such data for use by third parties.
Information, Correction, Blocking or Deletion of Stored Data
You have the right to make a free request for information about the personal data we have stored as well as the right to correct, block or delete this data. The same applies to the revocation of the consent to store your data.
If you revoke your consent or request deletion of your data, your data will be deleted accordingly. This does not apply to data which must be retained according to legal and/or other contractual obligations. This also does not apply to data required for the establishment, execution and settlement of contracts for legal transactions, or which must be stored for billing purposes.
Requests for information, blocking, deletion and correction of your data or revocation of a consent previously granted must be sent to the contact address listed at the end of this page (see "Information on Customer Rights and Contacts").
Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties
The personal data collected by us as part of a contractual relationship will be disclosed to forwarding companies commissioned by us to deliver the goods, providers of touristic services (such as a hotel) or transport companies commissioned to provide travel, to the extent such disclosure is required for the delivery of said goods, to book the hotel reservation or to offer a tour package. With regard to the settlement of invoices arising from transactions you have entered, your payment data will be disclosed to the authorised bank or payment service provider for purposes of making said payment.
Third parties involved in fulfilling or invoicing your contract may as a rule only use your data for order processing and to fulfil the contract unless you have given your express consent to third parties to use such data. In this case, the third parties are also allowed to create pseudonymous user profiles with cookies and dynamic IP addresses so as to transmit to the individual user personalised advertising and/or use the data for marketing research purposes. These partners especially include ad server operators and web analytics providers. The data processed and used in this respect is subject to the data protection regulations of the respective partner.
In all other instances, your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties except in those exceptional cases where we are required to do so by law or appropriate judicial or administrative order. If you receive advertising from Gatwick Taxi Cabs or one of its cooperating partners despite having submitted a revocation of consent to such use of your data, please contact us immediately. In this case, please notify us at the contact listed at the end of the page (see "Information on Customer Rights and Contacts").
All cookies used by us are made completely anonymous and contain no personal information about you. Neither we nor our customers are able to link general information about advertising-relevant target groups to specific individuals.
Internet browsers are by default set to accept cookies. However, users can deactivate the storing of cookies or adjust their browser so that it will be asked before a cookie is sent.

Use of Editorial Content and Communications
All user-generated content submitted for publication will be used by us exclusively within the website, but we cannot generally prevent external websites from accessing said content through links. Editorial communications may, for example, include posts made in social media (Facebook, Twitter, Google+), reader comments within the blog or any content (texts, images, etc.) received as part of a contest entry. We reserve the right to make editorial revisions to the contents forwarded to us prior to publication, in particular, the right to eliminate errors and make formatting changes. However, we will not truncate or make other changes to your content without first contacting you.
We store your data on specially protected servers in The Netherlands. Access to said servers is restricted to persons authorised to access the areas necessary for the technical, commercial or editorial management of the data.
We take precautions to ensure the safety of your personal data. Your data is conscientiously protected by us from loss, destruction, falsification, manipulation and unauthorised access or unauthorised disclosure.
Gatwick Taxi Cabs uses so-called social plug-ins for the social networks Facebook, Twitter and Google+. These services are offered respectively by the companies Facebook Inc., Twitter Inc. and Google Inc. ("providers"). Facebook is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). Twitter operated by Twitter, Inc. 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103. Google+ is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google").
When you visit one of our webpages containing such a social plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of Facebook, Twitter or Google. The content of the plug-in is transmitted directly by the providers to your browser and integrated into the page. By integrating the plug-in, the providers receive information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a profile with the corresponding social network or are not currently logged in. This information (including your IP address) will be transmitted from your browser directly to a server operated by the providers in the U.S. and stored there. If you are logged into one of the social networks, providers can directly assign your visit to our website to your profile on Facebook, Twitter or Google+. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example, by hitting "Like" or "+1", the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a server of the provider and stored there. The information will also be published on the social network and will be displayed to your contacts on those sites. The purpose and scope of data collection, the further processing and use of data by the providers, as well as your rights in this respect and the settings options for protecting your privacy, can be found under the privacy policies of the providers:
If you do not want Facebook, Twitter or Google to assign the data collected via our website directly to your profile on the respective social network, you must log out of the network before you visit our website. You can also prevent the loading of the plug-ins with a browser add-on; for example, you can install the "Facebook Blocker" to block the Facebook plugin (http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/).

The same applies to information, blocking, deletion and correction requests concerning your personal data and the revocation of consents granted.
